Katalyst Labs Sets +92Disrupt 2026 for December in Karachi

Katalyst Labs has announced the dates for the 2026 edition of +92Disrupt, its national tech and entrepreneurship conference, confirming a return to Karachi on December 5 and 6. The announcement, teased with the line “not loud, just disruptive,” continues the event’s positioning as Pakistan’s flagship gathering for founders, investors, and technology professionals, an event that has grown steadily in scale since its first edition in Lahore.

+92Disrupt has built a track record of drawing large, engaged crowds since Katalyst Labs launched the conference, with earlier editions bringing in several hundred participants and dozens of startups in its first year and growing to more than 850 tech founders, investors, and industry professionals in subsequent editions held in Karachi. Past conferences have featured a mix of keynote sessions from founders such as PostEx’s Omer Khan and Rozee.pk’s Monis Rahman, panel discussions spanning AI, fintech, and gaming, and structured investor office hours that give emerging startups direct access to potential funding conversations rather than relying solely on informal networking.

Katalyst Labs Founder and CEO Jehan Ara has consistently framed the conference around bridging the gap between established founders and emerging startups, using the event to foster dialogue on the technology and investment trends shaping Pakistan’s ecosystem. Previous editions have also incorporated competitive elements, including AI challenge competitions that have spotlighted talent from universities such as NED University of Engineering and Technology, giving the conference a dual function as both a networking platform and a showcase for emerging technical talent.

The scale and consistency of +92Disrupt’s growth over successive years has made it something of a barometer for Pakistan’s broader startup ecosystem, with international organizations and government bodies increasingly using the conference as a venue to launch initiatives and host side sessions, as seen in past editions where groups such as the Special Technology Zones Authority and Telenor Velocity ran dedicated roundtables alongside the main program. With the December dates now confirmed, +92Disrupt 2026 is positioned to continue that trajectory, giving Karachi’s tech and startup community another checkpoint to track the sector’s momentum heading into the new year.
