LMKT Hiring Investment Consultant At NIC Karachi

Published on

LMKT is hiring an Investment Consultant to work at NIC Karachi, taking on a role centred on helping startups raise capital, refine their investment strategy and become genuinely investor ready. The position is positioned as a key part of strengthening Pakistan’s startup ecosystem, with the successful candidate expected to guide founders through the practical mechanics of fundraising, financial modelling, valuation and direct engagement with investors.

The role covers a range of responsibilities including assessing startup investment readiness and financial health, building financial models, investor data rooms and fundraising materials, and mentoring founders on fundraising strategy, valuation approaches and due diligence processes. Beyond working directly with individual startups, the consultant will also be expected to connect promising ventures with investors, positioning the role as a bridge between founders seeking capital and the investors evaluating where to deploy it.

LMKT is looking for candidates with experience in venture capital, investment banking, corporate finance, startup advisory or related fields, reflecting the technical depth required to credibly assess financial health and guide founders through processes like due diligence and valuation that carry real consequences for a startup’s fundraising outcomes. The breadth of backgrounds considered suitable for the role points to the range of skill sets that can translate into effective startup investment advisory work, from more traditional finance backgrounds to those with direct venture capital experience.

The position is based in Karachi with the option to work remotely, and is open to both full time and part time arrangements, giving LMKT flexibility in the kind of candidate it is able to bring on for the role. Applications for the position are open until August 16, 2026, giving interested candidates a defined window to apply before the role closes to new submissions.

The hiring announcement was shared alongside NIC Karachi’s broader network of partners, including Tech Destination Pakistan, the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Ignite National Technology Fund, LMKT, LuckyOne Mall and Orbit Ventures, reflecting the institutional backing tied to the incubation centre’s ongoing programming and personnel needs.
