Mobilink Bank’s WIN Incubator Empowers Women Entrepreneurs, Launches New Cohort

Mobilink Bank has successfully graduated 13 women-led startups from its Women Inspirational Network (WIN) Incubator Program, marking a significant milestone in fostering financial inclusion, business resilience, and sustainable growth for women entrepreneurs in Pakistan. The initiative, an industry-first by Pakistan’s leading digital microfinance bank, has equipped these businesses with essential skills, financial literacy, and digital tools to scale their operations and achieve long-term success.

The graduation ceremony, held in Islamabad on International Women’s Day, celebrated the perseverance and achievements of these women entrepreneurs, many of whom overcame societal challenges and financial barriers to transform their startup ideas into viable businesses. The event gathered key stakeholders, industry leaders, businesswomen, partner organizations, and media representatives, all acknowledging the impact of collaboration and innovation in driving inclusive economic progress.

Highlighting the success of the program, Mobilink Bank awarded standout startups for their innovative contributions. Ecobricks received the Best Startup Award, securing a PKR 1 million prize, while Recycle Bin and EcoGrow were each awarded PKR 500,000 for their innovative solutions. These awards provide not just financial support but also validation and encouragement for these startups as they continue to grow.

Recognizing the demand for initiatives that empower women entrepreneurs, Mobilink Bank also announced the launch of the WIN Incubator’s second cohort, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing a thriving ecosystem for women-led businesses.

Speaking at the event, Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, President & CEO of Mobilink Bank, emphasized the bank’s mission to drive financial inclusion and economic empowerment:
“At Mobilink Bank, we believe in the unlimited potential of women to drive economic growth. As a future-ready bank, we’re not just providing tools and opportunities but paving the way for lasting change. When a woman rises, she lifts her family and community with her. Through our incubator program and financial inclusion efforts, we’re turning aspirations into achievements and fostering a more inclusive, equitable future. Congratulations to our graduates; we can’t wait to support the next wave of changemakers!”

The event’s chief guest, Her Excellency Amna Baloch, Foreign Secretary of Pakistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, praised the initiative, stating:
“I am pleased that the inaugural cohort of the WIN Incubator was a resounding success. The stories of these women inspire hope and motivate others to take the reins of their lives into their own hands. Witnessing this impact, we are excited to see the next cohort and wish Mobilink Bank all the best.”

The program’s graduates expressed gratitude to Mobilink Bank for providing them with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to succeed. With enhanced financial literacy, expertise in digital technology, and insights into global entrepreneurial best practices, these women entrepreneurs are now positioned to scale their ventures and make a lasting impact in their respective industries.

By continuing its commitment to women-led businesses, Mobilink Bank’s WIN Incubator is playing a vital role in reshaping Pakistan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, offering resources, mentorship, and funding opportunities to female founders determined to drive change.
