Zarai Baramdaat, a startup from National Incubation Center Faisalabad, has won Zarzaraat 2026, the agriculture focused startup competition sponsored by the Bank of Punjab, securing the top position among 25 participating AgriTech startups. The win places the Faisalabad startup first in a field made up entirely of companies working at the intersection of farming and technology. National Incubation Center Faisalabad congratulated the team on the achievement and wished them continued growth.
The center said the result reflects the startup’s potential to contribute to Pakistan’s evolving agricultural landscape through innovation and entrepreneurship. Agriculture remains central to the national economy, and competitions of this kind give young companies a platform to present their solutions to funders and industry figures. Earlier editions of the Zarzaraat competition were sponsored by the Bank of Punjab and held alongside the Pakistan Agricultural Coalition’s Agri Connections conference, where agricultural startups pitched their ideas to a panel of jurors and investors.
For Zarai Baramdaat, winning among 25 competitors offers recognition that can help it attract customers, funding and attention from the agricultural community. For the National Incubation Center Faisalabad, which operates with the backing of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Ignite, the National Technology Fund, the result is another example of a startup from its program standing out in a national contest. The team’s next steps will determine how the win translates into growth, but the victory gives the startup a strong starting point as it develops its business within Pakistan’s agriculture sector.
