Startups from the National Incubation Center Faisalabad are continuing to appear on major industry platforms, widening their presence across Pakistan’s technology and agriculture ecosystems. Bagh-e took part in ITCN Asia at Expo Centre Karachi, while PhytoDoctor PK participated in the Pakistan Agriculture Coalition event at Expo Centre Lahore. The two appearances took place in different cities and in different sectors, one centered on information technology and the other on agriculture, which reflects the range of companies supported by the Faisalabad center and the markets they are trying to reach.
The center said these engagements create opportunities for visibility, collaboration, and business growth, and that they show the growing role of its startups in building industry linkages, showcasing innovation, and exploring new opportunities. For early stage companies, large exhibitions and industry gatherings offer something that is hard to replicate elsewhere: a single venue where customers, investors, suppliers, and potential collaborators are all present. A startup that attends can demonstrate its product directly, hear what buyers need, and start conversations that might take months to arrange through cold outreach.
The choice of events matches the center’s focus. Faisalabad is known as a hub for agriculture and textiles, and the National Incubation Center Faisalabad has built its program around technology solutions for those fields. A startup such as PhytoDoctor PK appearing at an agriculture gathering places its work in front of the farmers, policymakers, and agribusiness leaders who are best placed to adopt it, while Bagh-e at ITCN Asia reaches the wider technology community that gathers at the Karachi expo. Together, the two appearances show startups from a mid sized city taking their products to the country’s two largest exhibition venues.
The National Incubation Center Faisalabad is funded by Ignite and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, and part of its work is to help its startups connect with the wider market beyond the incubator. Encouraging founders to take part in national events fits that goal, since visibility and relationships are often as valuable to a young company as funding or mentorship. The center did not share details of what each startup presented or the outcomes of the visits, but it described the participation as a continuing effort. For founders in Faisalabad, the message is that their companies can compete for attention on the same stages as those from larger cities, and that the center will back them in doing so.
