What happens to an idea after it walks into National Incubation Center Hyderabad? The center’s answer is that it does not stay an idea. It grows into a business, finds its customers, creates jobs, attracts investment and starts making a difference beyond the people who first imagined it. To make the point, the center has put forward three startups from its program, each showing a different kind of result.
LOADe, described as a technology enabled logistics and last mile delivery platform, is presented by Muhammad Salman, its Country Head, and is listed with the highest revenue generated among the featured startups, at 109.15 million Pakistani rupees. Mixeal, led by Founder Hallar Azad, builds immersive virtual reality experiences for gaming and enterprise training, and is listed with the highest investment raised internationally, at 46,000 United States dollars. Ninis Tutor, founded by Murtaza Ashraf, offers personalized online and home tutoring for global academic boards and tests, and is listed with the most jobs created, at 757.
The three examples cover revenue, investment and employment, the main measures by which incubation centers judge their startups. A logistics company that earns more than 109 million rupees shows that a young business can reach a significant scale in the market. A virtual reality studio that raises capital from international investors shows that a startup from Hyderabad can attract funding beyond Pakistan. A tutoring company that has created 757 jobs shows how a service business can employ large numbers of people, in this case likely tutors across many locations, while serving students preparing for international examinations.
The center used the stories to invite new applicants. Anyone with an idea of their own who is ready to take it further can apply here. National Incubation Center Hyderabad operates with the backing of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Ignite, the National Technology Fund, with PTCL, LMKT and Tech Destination Pakistan supporting its work. With applications for the next cohort open, the campaign gives prospective founders a view of what the program can lead to, and a picture of the results that earlier startups have reached after they walked through its doors.
