The National Incubation Center Karachi will host a Primary Track session on the Startup Lean Canvas Model on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, giving founders a practical way to turn a startup idea into a clear and actionable business model. The session is led by Imran Khan, founder of Raptr Games, and it begins at 3:00 PM at the National Incubation Center Karachi. The session is part of the center’s Primary Track for Cohort 16, the group of startups currently going through its incubation program, and it addresses one of the most basic questions a young company must answer: how will this business actually work.
The session will guide founders through the key elements of building a viable business model. Participants will begin with defining the problem and identifying their target customers, which sets the foundation for every other decision. From there, they will work on developing a unique value proposition, designing solutions that fit the problem, and mapping the distribution channels through which they will reach customers. The session will also cover planning revenue streams and cost structures, so that founders can see how money will come into the business and where it will go. The Lean Canvas is designed to capture all of these elements on a single page, which makes it easier to test assumptions and revise them as a startup learns more about its market.
A further part of the session focuses on helping founders identify their startup’s unfair advantage and build a stronger competitive position. An unfair advantage is something that competitors cannot easily copy or buy, such as specialized knowledge, a unique relationship, proprietary technology or a distinctive community of users. Many early stage founders struggle to name what sets their company apart, and working through the question in a structured way can reveal strengths they had overlooked or expose gaps that need attention before they invest further. Hearing from a founder who has built a company in the gaming industry gives participants a perspective grounded in direct experience rather than theory alone.
Founders who wish to attend can register for the session here ahead of the event. The National Incubation Center Karachi operates with the backing of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Tech Destination Pakistan and Ignite, the National Technology Fund, and its work is supported by LMKT, LuckyOne Mall and Orbit Ventures. Sessions of this kind form part of the regular learning program that the center offers to its cohorts, giving startups structured guidance at each stage of their development. For Cohort 16 founders, the Lean Canvas session offers a tool they can use immediately to review their own business models and decide where to focus next.
