National Incubation Center Karachi Hosts Women Led Track Session On Narrative And Purposeful Leadership

Published on

National Incubation Center Karachi recently held a Women-Led Track curriculum session titled Own Your Narrative, Lead with Purpose, led by Anusha Shahid, Co-Founder of Zvolta. The session focused on building the leadership capabilities of women entrepreneurs, with particular emphasis on personal positioning, self-confidence and purposeful leadership. As part of the center’s regular curriculum, the Women-Led Track gives women founders a dedicated space to examine the questions of identity, voice and direction that shape how they run their ventures.

Through an exchange of perspectives and practical insights, participants explored how to communicate their vision effectively, recognize their leadership strengths, navigate entrepreneurial challenges and make informed decisions. The format was built around discussion as much as instruction, which allowed founders to compare experiences and test ideas about how they present themselves to customers, teams and investors. Anusha Shahid, who built Zvolta as a founder herself, brought the perspective of someone who has dealt with these questions in practice, making the lessons easier to connect with the day to day realities of running an early stage company.

The emphasis on narrative reflects a common challenge for founders. A business can have a strong product and still struggle if its leader cannot explain the vision clearly or does not feel confident claiming a place in the room. Learning to define how one is positioned, recognizing personal strengths and making decisions with clarity can have a direct effect on fundraising, hiring and partnerships with customers. For women entrepreneurs, who often face additional barriers to visibility and access, a session devoted to these skills can help turn confidence into practical leadership habits that carry into their work.

National Incubation Center Karachi operates with the backing of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Ignite, the National Technology Fund, with Tech Destination Pakistan, LMKT, LuckyOne Mall and Orbit Ventures supporting its work. The Women-Led Track forms part of a wider set of sessions that the center runs for its cohorts, covering topics from business models and pitching to leadership and personal growth. By dedicating a track to women founders, the center gives them tools and role models suited to the specific challenges they face, and the latest session adds to that effort by encouraging participants to own their narrative and lead with purpose.
