National Incubation Center Karachi has inducted 35 startups into Cohort 16 of its flagship incubation programme, after a competitive selection process that drew more than 700 applications. The selected ventures come from across Pakistan and work in technology-driven businesses, and the incubator described the induction as a milestone in its efforts to support the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The announcement was made in a statement issued on Saturday.
The cohort includes Accountrix, Agahi, Aitebaar, Asaan Filer, Asan Parchi, Buddy Study, Campus Rides, Career Intelligence Labs, Coretech Innovation, DigiSlip, EcoPly, Eitemaad, Emersys, FoodLoot, Gray Scrubs AI, LikeSpaces, LooksInsight, Magitly, Mayaar and MedPixel AI. It also includes Momistan, PanelBot, PaveItGreen, Payssenger, Pixel Flow, PrepMO, ProData Solution, Reuna AI, Ruhana AI, Sawari, Setl, SHS Enterprises, SpyraSOC, Subyte and YouthPay. Their products range from financial and tax tools, education and career platforms and mobility services to artificial intelligence in health, security and design, which reflects the mix of problems that young founders in Pakistan are trying to solve.
National Incubation Center Karachi is funded by Ignite National Technology Fund under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and is managed by LMKT together with Lucky Landmark Private Limited. Orbit Ventures acts as its international acceleration arm, and the incubator says Cohort 16 startups will gain from stronger mentorship, structured acceleration and more exposure to international networks and potential investors through that link. The collaboration is meant to help founders sharpen their business strategies, improve their readiness for investment and explore ways to expand in local and international markets.
The incubator also gave figures on the record of its earlier startups, which it says have together generated more than Rs13 billion in revenue and attracted more than Rs13 billion in investment. Syed Azfar Hussain, Project Director of the incubator, said that the induction of the cohort marks another important step in its work to build Pakistan’s startup ecosystem, and that the quality and variety of ideas seen this year reflect the country’s growing entrepreneurial ambition. The new startups join a centre that has a record of supporting hundreds of companies since it opened, and they will now begin the programme of training, mentorship and access to industry networks that the incubator provides.
