National Incubation Center Karachi Signs Memorandum Of Understanding With PayPro For Startup Digital Payments

Published on

The National Incubation Center Karachi and PayPro have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at widening access to digital payment solutions for startups and growing businesses. The signing was attended by Syed Azfar Hussain, Project Director of the National Incubation Center Karachi, and Taimur Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of PayPro, along with members of their teams. PayPro was also represented by Ali Zia Fatmi, Head of Sales, and Muhammad Zorain Haider, Product Manager. The agreement formalizes a working relationship between the center and the payments company, with a focus on putting practical financial tools in front of the founders who build their businesses at the center.

PayPro operates an integrated digital payments platform that helps businesses simplify invoicing, streamline the collection of payments, and manage cash flows more efficiently. These functions sit at the heart of day to day operations for early stage companies, many of which still rely on manual invoicing, scattered payment methods, and slow reconciliation that eat into time better spent on product and customers. A single platform that brings invoicing and collection together can reduce that burden, and it can give founders a clearer picture of money coming in and going out, which is especially valuable for businesses with limited financial staff.

Through the agreement, the National Incubation Center Karachi aims to connect its startups with digital solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer convenience. For a startup selling to businesses or consumers, the ability to accept payments smoothly can shape how customers experience the brand, since a simple checkout or a clear digital invoice builds confidence and shortens the time between a sale and the money arriving. The center sees access to such tools as part of the practical support it offers, alongside training, mentorship, and networking, and the memorandum gives its founders a direct route to a company that already serves merchants across the country.

Both sides described the memorandum as a reflection of a shared commitment to accelerating digital adoption and helping entrepreneurs build sustainable, growth oriented businesses. The National Incubation Center Karachi is funded by Ignite and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, and its work with industry in this way fits the wider push to move more of Pakistan’s commercial activity onto digital channels. Details such as the specific services startups will receive and any terms on pricing were not shared in the announcement. For founders at the center, the immediate benefit is a clearer path to payment tools that can support their growth, and for PayPro, the agreement places its platform in front of a steady flow of new businesses at the stage when they are choosing the systems they will rely on.
