NIC Faisalabad Engages M&Co to Support Startups on Funding and Marketing

Published on

NIC Faisalabad is engaging with M&Co to explore opportunities for supporting startups across funding and investment, marketing and impact, opening a new line of collaboration aimed at addressing some of the more persistent challenges founders face once they move past the earliest stages of building their ventures. Rather than a one-off session, the engagement is structured as a series of discussions designed to work through these areas with NIC Faisalabad’s current cohort over time.

Through this series of sessions and discussions with NIC Faisalabad startups, M&Co is engaging with founders on capital-raising opportunities, market positioning, impact and potential connections with relevant investors and business networks. For many early stage founders, understanding how to position their business attractively to investors or define their own market story clearly can be just as difficult as building the product itself, making this kind of outside engagement a practical complement to the more technical support typically offered within an incubation programme.

By bringing in an outside organization focused specifically on funding, marketing and impact, NIC Faisalabad is effectively supplementing its existing internal support structure with specialized expertise in areas that can directly affect a startup’s ability to scale. Capital raising in particular often depends as much on how a founder frames their venture’s story and market opportunity as it does on the underlying business fundamentals, which makes structured guidance in this specific area a meaningful addition to a founder’s overall toolkit.

The engagement aims to create more effective pathways for startups to raise capital, market their products and scale their operations, reflecting NIC Faisalabad’s broader strategy of pairing its own incubation infrastructure with targeted external partnerships. NIC Faisalabad continues to receive support from the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan and Ignite National Technology Fund as it works through this engagement with M&Co alongside its current cohort of startups.
