NIC Faisalabad conducted a Pitch Readiness Session for its shortlisted founders as they prepare for the upcoming Final Pitching Rounds. The session was designed to give founders a structured chance to get ready for the most important stage of the selection process, where each team will present its venture before evaluators. Bringing the shortlisted cohort together ahead of the final round allowed the incubator to give consistent guidance to every team at the same time.
The session was led by Aimen S., Programme Manager at NICF, and Frasat Tanveer, Incubation Officer. Together they guided founders through the practical side of preparing for a high stakes pitch, drawing on their day to day work with the incubator’s startups. Their involvement reflects how closely the NIC Faisalabad team works with founders throughout the programme, moving beyond application screening to hands on preparation once teams reach the shortlist stage.
The session also featured Hira Mubeen, Founder of Yumkins, who shared practical insights and lessons from her own entrepreneurial experience with the shortlisted founders. Hearing directly from a founder who has built a venture gave participants a grounded perspective on how a pitch is received in practice and how to present a business with credibility. Founder led sessions of this kind tend to be among the most useful parts of incubation programmes, since they let early stage teams ask candid questions about challenges that formal training rarely covers.
The main focus of the session was on sharpening pitch narratives, refining presentations, and helping founders communicate their ventures with greater clarity, structure and confidence ahead of the Final Pitching Rounds. By working on both the story a founder tells and the way it is delivered, the session aimed to help each team present its idea in a form that evaluators can follow and remember. NIC Faisalabad operates with the support of the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan and Ignite National Technology Fund.
