NIC Faisalabad Hosts LinkedIn Live On Team Leadership

Published on

NIC Faisalabad will host a LinkedIn Live session titled From Founder to Leader, Managing Teams, Partners and Expectations, featuring Jawad Amin, CEO of Innovative Advisory. The session addresses a transition many founders face as their ventures grow, moving from primarily building a product or business to leading and managing a team, a shift that requires a different set of skills from those needed in a startup’s earliest stages.

The conversation is built around the premise that building a startup requires more than a strong idea, and that as a venture grows, founders must learn how to lead teams, manage partners and align expectations without losing sight of the broader vision guiding their company. This framing positions the session as addressing a specific and often underdiscussed challenge within startup development, where founders capable of building a strong initial product do not always have the organisational or people management skills needed to scale a team effectively.

Jawad Amin brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources and organisational development to the session, giving the conversation a foundation in formal people management practice rather than founder anecdote alone. His background as a seasoned HR professional positions him to speak to the structural and interpersonal dynamics that shape how founders manage growing teams, an area that draws on established organisational development principles even as it is applied within the specific, often fast moving context of an early stage startup.

The session will explore the practical challenges founders face while transitioning from building a business to leading people, suggesting the discussion will move beyond general leadership theory into the specific friction points founders commonly encounter as their teams and stakeholder relationships expand. This includes managing the expectations of co-founders, employees, and other partners who bring different priorities and working styles into the venture as it scales.

The LinkedIn Live session is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 3 PM, with NIC Faisalabad continuing to use the format to give founders direct access to experienced practitioners in a conversational, easily accessible setting. The session is supported by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Ignite National Technology Fund, consistent with the institutional backing behind NIC Faisalabad’s ongoing programming for founders in the region.
