NIC Islamabad Holds Cohort 6 Open House for Prospective Applicants

Published on

NIC Islamabad is hosting its first Cohort 6 Open House on the fourth of September, twenty twenty six, running from five until six in the evening, giving prospective founders a focused sixty minute session designed to help them understand the programme, strengthen their application, and know exactly what comes next before submitting. The session is limited to only twenty seats, giving it a more intimate format compared to larger informational events.

The open house is structured to give attendees a clear look inside the Cohort 6 journey, along with details on what selected startups can access at NIC Islamabad once accepted into the programme. This kind of transparency ahead of the application process gives prospective founders a more informed basis for deciding whether the programme aligns with their venture’s specific needs and stage of development.

Participants can expect practical guidance on their pitch deck and application video, addressing two of the most common components of a competitive startup application. The session will also cover common application mistakes and how to avoid them, giving attendees direct insight into the pitfalls that may have hurt previous applicants’ chances of selection, information that is often not readily available to those applying for the first time.

The open house includes a live question and answer segment with the NIC Islamabad team, allowing attendees to address their own specific uncertainties about the application process or programme structure directly with the people responsible for evaluating submissions. The event also offers a chance to connect with fellow founders, giving prospective applicants an early opportunity to begin building relationships within NIC Islamabad’s broader community even before formally joining a cohort.

The event is supported by Ministry Of IT and Telecommunication, Tech Destination Pakistan, and Ignite National Technology Fund, alongside Fauji Foundation, Founder Institute, and Cybervision International, reflecting the institutional network tied to NIC Islamabad’s ongoing programming. Those interested in attending can register through the link shared as part of the announcement at https://lnkd.in/deYd7R7T, with the open house adding to NIC Islamabad’s continued effort to help prospective founders submit stronger, more informed applications ahead of Cohort 6.
