National Incubation Center Karachi will host a Primary Track curriculum session titled Sales Funneling, How to Acquire Initial Customers, featuring Naveed Husain, founder and chief executive officer of Sugar Hill Consulting. The session is designed to help early stage founders understand how to secure their first customers, a stage often considered decisive in shaping a startup’s broader growth trajectory.
Husain brings 30 years of experience across enterprise technology, sales, and go to market strategy, having worked on both sides of the enterprise buying and selling process. As vice president of vertical sales and go to market at RingCentral, he built an industry program from the ground up to more than 100 million dollars in annual recurring revenue across education, government, healthcare, financial services, and retail, a period during which the company grew from 300 million dollars to 2.2 billion dollars in value.
The session is scheduled for Tuesday, 8 September 2026, at 3:00 PM at National Incubation Center Karachi, with interested participants able to register through https://lnkd.in/dX2bGgsy. Founders attending the session will work through a practical sales plan covering target audiences, prospecting strategies, and key performance metrics, supported by role playing exercises intended to strengthen sales conversations and communication skills.
Drawing on his experience working with enterprise buyers, building request for proposal programs, developing purchasing channels, and advising both investors and startups, Husain is expected to share insights into how enterprise decisions are made. The session forms part of the Primary Track curriculum at National Incubation Center Karachi, supported by Tech Destination Pakistan, Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Ignite National Technology Fund, LMKT, LuckyOne Mall, and Orbit Ventures.
