NIC Karachi Hosts Saim Siddiqui Session on Emerging Industrial Automation Technologies

Published on

NIC Karachi will host an online curriculum session titled Emerging Technologies in Industrial Automation, scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The session will feature Saim Siddiqui, Co-founder and CEO of ProCheck, who will help founders understand how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, the internet of things and robotics can transform industrial operations, improve productivity and open new avenues for innovation. The session comes as founders across Pakistan’s industrial automation space increasingly look toward these technologies not as distant possibilities but as tools already reshaping how operations are designed and run.

Participants will explore the evolution of modern industrial systems and the key technologies currently shaping the industrial automation landscape, gaining a clearer picture of where the sector is headed and which innovations are gaining the most traction. The session will also examine concrete opportunities for adoption, helping founders move beyond a general awareness of these technologies toward a more specific understanding of where they might fit within their own operations or product offerings.

Beyond surveying the technology landscape, the session will address the practical challenges that come with implementation, an area that often proves more difficult than identifying a promising technology in the first place. Founders will be guided through frameworks for identifying which emerging technologies are genuinely relevant to their own solutions, helping them avoid the common trap of adopting new tools for their own sake rather than for the specific operational problems they are meant to solve.

The session is open for registration through the provided link and is being held under NIC Karachi’s Cohort 16 programming. Alongside NIC Karachi’s other recent sessions on regulatory compliance, legal and taxation, technology stack selection and executive presence, this session rounds out a curriculum that spans both the technical and operational dimensions founders need to navigate as they build and scale industrial automation ventures.
