By framing its call around these specific problem areas rather than agriculture broadly, NIC Karachi is signalling interest in founders who can address concrete, well-defined gaps within the agricultural value chain rather than pursuing more generalised farming technology concepts without a clear point of impact.
Founders building AgriTech or food security solutions who join Cohort 16 will gain access to a broader ecosystem of mentors, investors, and industry experts committed to helping translate early-stage ideas into ventures capable of strengthening food systems and supporting a more sustainable agricultural future. This ecosystem access is particularly relevant for AgriTech founders, who often need domain-specific guidance around agricultural supply chains, farmer adoption patterns, and seasonal business cycles that differ considerably from the operating rhythms of software or consumer technology startups more commonly seen in general-purpose incubation cohorts.
