NIC Karachi Organises MVP Development Session for Startup Founders

National Incubation Center Karachi is set to host a Primary Track Curriculum session focused on “MVP Development: Product Development, Iterating and Pivoting” as part of its ongoing startup learning and mentorship activities. The session will feature Imran Batoaq from YOTTABYTE and is aimed at helping startup founders understand how ideas can be validated through rapid experimentation, product iteration, and market driven improvements.

According to the organizers, the session will explore practical approaches to building minimum viable products by focusing on prototyping, feature brainstorming, user testing, and feedback analysis. Participants will be introduced to methods used for refining products based on real user behavior and validated market insights, with discussions centered around how startups can improve decision making during the early stages of product development.

The curriculum session is intended to provide founders with a clearer understanding of how iterative development processes can help reduce product risk and improve alignment between business ideas and market needs. Organizers stated that the discussion will also address how startups can identify when to pivot, modify features, or refine product direction based on customer feedback and testing outcomes rather than assumptions alone.

The event is scheduled to take place on May 19, 2026, at 3:00 PM at NIC Karachi. The initiative is being conducted with support from organizations associated with Pakistan’s startup and technology ecosystem including the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication Pakistan, Ignite National Technology Fund, LMKT, LuckyOne Mall, and Orbit Ventures. The session forms part of wider efforts aimed at improving startup readiness, product strategy, and innovation focused learning for emerging entrepreneurs in Pakistan.
