NIC Karachi Startup CyberGaar Heads to GISEC Global 2026 in Dubai

Pakistan is sending a delegation of four cybersecurity companies to GISEC Global 2026 in Dubai under the Tech Destination Pakistan banner, with the Pakistan Software Export Board organizing the group’s participation in one of the world’s most active markets for digital security and resilience. The delegation reflects a deliberate push to position Pakistan’s cybersecurity sector, an industry that has grown steadily but often struggled for international visibility compared to the country’s more established fintech and e-commerce startups, in front of a concentrated audience of Gulf region buyers and partners.

Among the companies representing Pakistan is CyberGaar, a NIC Karachi Cohort 15 startup focused on threat intelligence, penetration testing, and risk mitigation. Its inclusion in the delegation marks a notable milestone for the incubation center, since GISEC participation typically favors more established security firms with existing enterprise client bases rather than startups still working through an incubator cohort. CyberGaar will be joined by Security Pact, which specializes in next generation managed detection and response and SOC-as-a-service backed by partnerships with global providers including IBM, Palo Alto Networks, and CrowdStrike, alongside Kinverg, which focuses on enterprise governance, risk, and compliance advisory, and Secure Networks, which works on infrastructure security and extended detection and response for enterprise networks.

Together, the four companies span a fairly complete slice of the cybersecurity value chain, from threat detection and penetration testing to governance and infrastructure protection, giving Pakistan’s pavilion at GISEC a broader pitch than a single company representing one narrow specialty could offer. That breadth matters in a market like GISEC, where buyers and investors are typically evaluating multiple vendors against overlapping needs, and a delegation that can address governance, technical defense, and compliance simultaneously has a stronger case for follow-up conversations than isolated pitches would.

The delegation will be based at the Pakistan Pavilion, Stand H5-C120.2 in Hall 5 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre from September 16 to 18, 2026. The event adds to a broader pattern this year of Pakistani tech companies and government bodies using GCC facing trade shows and pavilions as a structured entry point into Gulf markets, a strategy that has already produced results for other sectors and that PSEB appears to be extending deliberately into cybersecurity as the next area of export focus.
