NIC Karachi Welcomes Five Startups to Acceleration Cohort 4 Powered by Orbit Ventures

Published on

NIC Karachi has welcomed five ambitious startups into its Acceleration Program, powered by Orbit Ventures, marking the next step for a group of ventures selected for their potential, vision and drive to turn bold ideas into scalable businesses. The five companies joining Acceleration Cohort 4 are OSquare, Metaworks, Securitanium, Cort Technologies and Plouton AI, representing a mix of sectors within Pakistan’s growing technology landscape.

Being selected for an acceleration programme of this kind marks a meaningful milestone for any startup, typically signaling that a venture has moved beyond its earliest, most experimental stage and is now ready for a more structured push toward growth. For the five founders behind this cohort, acceptance into the programme comes with recognition from NIC Karachi and Orbit Ventures that their businesses have reached a point where more intensive support can meaningfully accelerate their progress.

As they enter this next phase, the founders will gain access to hands-on mentorship from global experts, investor readiness support, and real world opportunities to validate and grow in the market. This combination of mentorship, fundraising preparation and practical market exposure is designed to help each startup close the gap between an early product and a business capable of attracting serious investor interest, a transition that many founders find more difficult to navigate than building the product itself.

Acceleration Cohort 4 continues to operate under the backing of Tech Destination Pakistan, the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan, Ignite National Technology Fund, LMKT, LuckyOne Mall and Orbit Ventures. With the cohort now formally underway, the five startups begin a period that NIC Karachi describes simply as the start of their journey to scale.
