National Incubation Center Lahore has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with WISE College, represented by their Chief Executive Officer Hamda Tariq, marking a strategic partnership designed to foster entrepreneurship, empower young minds, and create a robust ecosystem where academic excellence meets industry innovation. The agreement gives WISE College’s students direct access to NIC Lahore’s incubation infrastructure and mentorship network.
Through this collaboration, students and aspiring entrepreneurs from WISE College will gain access to mentorship, startup resources, and hands on opportunities to turn groundbreaking ideas into scalable solutions. This kind of structured pathway from an academic institution directly into an established incubator’s support system gives students a more concrete route toward entrepreneurship than they might otherwise have access to purely through classroom based education.
NIC Lahore’s continued expansion of its academic partnerships adds WISE College to a growing list of institutions the incubator has formally connected with, reflecting a broader strategy of building relationships across multiple universities and colleges to widen the pipeline of potential founders entering its ecosystem. This approach allows NIC Lahore to draw from a more diverse pool of student talent beyond any single institution’s student body.
Both organisations described the partnership as paving the way for the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers, framing the collaboration in terms of long term talent development rather than a narrow, short term initiative. This kind of framing suggests the MoU is intended to establish an ongoing relationship rather than a one time collaborative project between the two institutions.
The agreement was supported by Ministry Of IT and Telecom, Pakistan Software Export Board, Ignite National Technology Fund, NETSOL Technologies, and HBL, alongside NIC Lahore’s broader consortium of institutional partners including Beaconhouse National University and University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. The MoU with WISE College adds to this expanding network, with organisers noting that further initiatives stemming from the partnership are expected to follow.
