NIC Peshawar Hosts Info Session for 13th Tameer Awards 2026 Applications

Published on

NIC Peshawar is hosting an information session for the 13th Tameer Awards 2026 on the tenth of September, twenty twenty six, at three in the afternoon at NIC Peshawar. The session gives entrepreneurs, startups, innovators, and aspiring founders across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa an opportunity to learn more about the awards ahead of the application deadline on the thirteenth of September.

The 13th Tameer Awards continues a programme celebrating young entrepreneurs since 2003, reflecting more than two decades of continuous recognition for Pakistan’s emerging entrepreneurial talent. Winners stand to receive cash prizes of up to PKR 1,000,000, alongside media exposure, pitch training, mentorship, industry access, and further growth opportunities, giving the awards a combination of financial and non-financial benefits for successful applicants.

This info session at NIC Peshawar follows a similar awareness session held at NIC Hyderabad earlier, reflecting the Tameer Awards programme’s continued outreach across multiple National Incubation Centers ahead of its application deadline. This kind of coordinated, multi-city awareness campaign suggests organisers are working to maximise applications from across Pakistan’s different regional startup ecosystems rather than relying solely on centralised promotion.

The narrow window between the info session on the tenth of September and the application deadline on the thirteenth gives prospective applicants a tight but focused timeframe to finalise their submissions after attending the session, with the session likely designed to give last minute clarity to those still deciding whether and how to apply.

The event is supported by Ignite National Technology Fund, Ministry Of IT and Telecommunication, LMKR, LMKT, Orbit Startups, Accelerate Prosperity, Sybrid, and academic institutions including IM Sciences, Rehman Medical Institute, and CECOS University, alongside Frontier Platinum, reflecting the broad institutional network tied to NIC Peshawar’s Cohort 16 programming. Those interested in applying can do so through the link shared as part of the announcement at https://lnkd.in/detjc_e3, with the info session adding to NIC Peshawar’s continued effort to connect its founder community with external recognition and funding opportunities.
