National Incubation Center Sialkot’s Cohort 1 is stepping into an intensive Business Development Plan Workshop designed to help founders refine their growth strategies and strengthen their long-term roadmaps. Coming shortly after the cohort’s founders were formally introduced earlier this month, the workshop marks one of the center’s first substantive curriculum sessions for its inaugural group, moving founders from initial onboarding into the structured, applied planning work that determines whether their businesses can actually scale beyond their current early stage.
The session is being led by Ali Khursheed, who brings a background in AI enablement and business automation from his prior experience at National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies, giving him direct familiarity with how Pakistani incubation centers structure founder-facing curriculum before joining NIC Sialkot’s own programming. That cross-center experience positions him to bring lessons learned from NICAT’s own cohort development directly into Sialkot’s first cohort, rather than approaching the session purely from an external consulting perspective.
The workshop will offer practical insights, strategic frameworks, and hands-on guidance to help startups navigate market growth and drive sustainable success, treating business development planning as a discipline requiring structured methodology rather than something founders can improvise informally as opportunities arise. For a cohort whose ventures span sectors as varied as trading research platforms, medical tourism, manufacturing data tools, and sportswear, a shared framework for business development planning gives founders across genuinely different industries a common structural language to apply to their otherwise distinct businesses.
Organizers framed the session around turning ambitious visions into execution-ready milestones, language that reflects NIC Sialkot’s broader positioning as a center built specifically for Sialkot’s core export industries, offering founders curated trips to trade shows, industry events, and investor gatherings alongside direct connections to institutions such as Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan. The workshop is scheduled for Monday, 21.09.2026, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at NIC Sialkot, and is supported by Mobilink Bank and CyberVision International, alongside Ignite National Technology Fund and Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication.
