NICAT Cohort 8 of Aerospace Startups Applications Deadline Set for July 28

Published on

Our next breakthrough deserves more than just an idea, it deserves the right runway, and NICAT is putting that principle into practice with the final call for applications to its eighth cohort. July 28, 2026, marks the last day for founders to submit their applications, closing the window on an opportunity that has offered ambitious startups expert support, industry access, and a community specifically designed for founders working on technically demanding or high-growth ventures.

As one of the incubation centres operating under the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park, NICAT occupies a distinct position within Pakistan’s broader incubation landscape, with its institutional backing giving it particular relevance for startups working in or adjacent to aerospace, engineering, and advanced technology sectors. The programme’s association with organisations such as Air University and Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra reflects this specialised orientation, giving founders accepted into the cohort access to industry expertise and institutional relationships that may be less readily available through more general-purpose incubation programmes.

With applications closing today, founders who have been considering applying to NICAT Cohort 8 are running out of time to submit before the deadline passes. Interested founders can still apply through the link provided at https://bit.ly/4aNdHMO, with the call inviting startups working across technology sectors more broadly rather than restricting eligibility solely to aerospace-focused ventures.

The call is supported by Ignite National Technology Fund, the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, NETSOL Technologies, the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park, Air University, and Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra, reflecting a mix of public sector, academic, and industrial backing behind NICAT’s cohort-based programming. As the application window for Cohort 8 closes, NICAT’s team will move into reviewing submissions, continuing the incubation centre’s ongoing role in offering founders working on ambitious, technically grounded ventures a structured pathway toward the kind of expert mentorship and industry access needed to scale beyond the earliest stages of development.
