The National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies has opened registration for AeroFusion 2026, a challenge under the title An Era Unfolding that brings together people working in aerospace, deep technology and artificial intelligence to take on real-world problems. The event is open to innovators, engineers, researchers and ambitious problem-solvers, and it asks them to push technological boundaries and engineer solutions for what comes next. The winner will receive PKR 200,000 and the runner-up PKR 100,000. Participants can register for the research showcase through the research showcase link or for AeroHack through the AeroHack link.
AeroFusion has two tracks. AeroHack is a hackathon in which teams of students, startups and innovators work on aerospace challenges, and the Research Showcase gives researchers a place to present their projects to experts in the field. Earlier editions of the incubator’s events have also included hands-on workshops and a symposium on the future of aerospace in Pakistan, and the incubator has said that this year’s event is meant to attract the best minds in aerospace, deep technology and artificial intelligence.
The event is funded by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication through Ignite National Technology Fund and is carried out with NetSol Technologies, the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park, Air University and Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra. In the announcement for the event, the incubator said that teams that perform well may enter its evaluation pipeline, which opens the possibility of incubation, along with mentorship, certification and contact with experts in Pakistan’s aerospace and defence sector.
The National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies is Pakistan’s first aerospace and deep technology incubator, based at the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park in Rawalpindi. The announcement for this round does not state the dates of the event or the closing date for registration, and teams that wish to take part are advised to check the incubator’s official channels before submitting.
