Islamabad’s National University of Technology (NUTECH) is set to host a major entrepreneurial event in collaboration with the Innovista Startup League, offering young innovators the chance to showcase their business ideas and compete for exciting opportunities. The competition will take place on 30 July 2025 at the NUTECH Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (NEIC).

The Business Plan Competition provides an important platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to present innovative solutions and gain recognition within Pakistan’s growing startup ecosystem. With a mix of creativity, strategy, and execution, participating teams will have the opportunity to stand out to industry experts, potential investors, and the wider entrepreneurial community.

The competition’s highlight is the reward for the top-performing team, which will not only secure a cash prize of Rs.30,000 but will also qualify for the next Regional Round of the Innovista Startup League. This advancement provides winners with a broader platform to engage with mentors, investors, and a network of fellow innovators across the region.

Applications are currently open and can be submitted through the official link here. The deadline for submissions is 26 July 2025, leaving applicants with limited time to refine and submit their business ideas.

The event reflects NUTECH’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurial talent in Pakistan, empowering students and young professionals with opportunities to bring their ideas to life. In partnership with Innovista, the initiative is expected to draw high-quality pitches across multiple industries, from tech-driven startups to innovative service models.

By collaborating with Innovista, which has established itself as a premier startup league in the region, NEIC aims to integrate local innovators into a larger ecosystem of entrepreneurship. The competition not only promotes innovation but also helps bridge the gap between young entrepreneurs and the support systems they need to scale their ventures.

As Pakistan’s startup landscape continues to expand, such initiatives play a vital role in nurturing the next wave of founders. They encourage practical problem-solving, strengthen business acumen, and create connections that can transform early-stage concepts into successful enterprises.

For students and budding entrepreneurs eager to showcase their creativity and ambition, this Business Plan Competition offers both recognition and a stepping stone to greater opportunities.
