Orbit Ventures is set to host an invite-only demo day on Thursday, April 23, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Karachi, bringing together startups from the National Incubation Center Karachi and National Incubation Center Peshawar cohort for a live pitching and networking session with leading venture capital firms, angel investors, and family offices. The event is organised by Orbit Ventures with support from Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Ignite, and is open exclusively to vetted investors and Orbit mentors, who will receive official invitations with venue details closer to the date. With 25 confirmed attendees already registered, the event is shaping up to be a focused, high-signal gathering rather than a broad open showcase.
Seven startups spanning sectors including agricultural technology, financial technology, marketing technology, media technology, electronic commerce software as a service, and transport will take the stage. Smartsphere, based in Karachi, develops multilingual, voice-enabled, and emotionally intelligent artificial intelligence agents designed to handle calls, messages, and real-time interactions. Speedoy, also from Karachi, helps food businesses drive customer retention through direct repeat-purchase campaigns. AIREC automates the recruitment pipeline — from curriculum vitae sourcing and screening to artificial intelligence-driven assessments and culture-fit analysis — for companies looking to reduce manual hiring overhead. Sajiero is an online intimate wear store offering its own branded products across a wide range of sizes and styles, while RILITS provides automated packing verification solutions for exporters, ensuring every item in a shipment matches the packing plan before it leaves the facility.
Representing National Incubation Center Peshawar are two startups with distinctly different propositions. OPA Academy offers fully animated, concept-based video lectures and personalised test preparation tools aimed at students seeking structured academic support. Musaffa takes a trust-first approach to honey retail, building traceability into its supply chain through single-origin products and consumer education as a precursor to the sale. Together, the seven companies reflect the breadth of problem statements being tackled within Pakistan’s incubation network, ranging from enterprise automation and recruitment technology to consumer goods and edtech.
Orbit Ventures, which was ranked the fourth most active venture capital firm across global emerging markets in 2025 by MAGNiTT, operates across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, with a focus on scaling startups in emerging and frontier markets. National Incubation Center Karachi and National Incubation Center Peshawar are both envisioned, designed, and funded by Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Ignite, with their respective management handled by consortiums led by LLPL, LMKT, and LMKR. For investors and mentors seeking access, registration remains subject to host approval through the event’s official page.
