Pakistan-founded COLABS Expands to Saudi Arabia with New Riyadh Workspace Campus

Published on

Pakistan-founded coworking and flexible workspace company COLABS has entered the Saudi Arabian market with the launch of its first international campus in Riyadh, marking a major milestone in the company’s regional expansion strategy. The move signals the company’s ambitions to tap into Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing startup and small business ecosystem while strengthening business links between the two countries. The launch represents one of the notable cross-border expansions by a Pakistani startup infrastructure company into the Gulf market.

The new campus, located in Riyadh’s Al-Narjis district, spans 4,000 square meters and has been designed to support startups, scale-ups, and enterprise teams with flexible office solutions. The facility can accommodate more than 500 members and includes meeting rooms, event spaces, a rooftop terrace, and a podcast studio. The expansion comes at a time when Saudi Arabia is witnessing increased demand for startup infrastructure as entrepreneurship and innovation continue to gain momentum under the Kingdom’s economic diversification plans.

COLABS has established itself as a major player in Pakistan’s coworking ecosystem, operating across Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad with more than 500,000 square feet of workspace spread across over ten locations. The company currently supports more than 5,000 members and over 300 companies, positioning itself as a core part of Pakistan’s startup infrastructure. Its business model combines shared workspaces with community-driven support systems aimed at enabling collaboration and business growth.

The company has raised more than $8 million from regional investors including Shorooq, Waseel Partners, and Indus Valley Capital, and now aims to expand its presence across the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan. The Riyadh launch also reflects broader economic and entrepreneurial collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with COLABS positioning itself as a bridge between the two startup ecosystems to support market entry, scaling, and cross-border partnerships.
