Pakistan Investor Summit 2025 Launches in Karachi to Connect Startups with Investors and Accelerate Growth

The 10th edition of the Pakistan Investor Summit has officially launched in Karachi, setting the stage for a dynamic gathering of startups, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders. Organized by the National Incubation Center (NIC) Karachi, the ‘Pakistan Investor Summit 2025 – Summer Edition’ aims to create a fertile environment for strategic partnerships and unlock transformative funding opportunities for Pakistan’s rapidly growing startup ecosystem. This year’s summit will feature more than 20 high-potential startups and is expected to attract over 100 investors alongside key stakeholders from across the country.

The summit’s kickoff day featured the highly anticipated Pitch Fest, where startups presented their business ideas and growth plans before a panel of judges composed exclusively of NIC Karachi alumni who have successfully built their own ventures. This unique judging panel includes accomplished entrepreneurs such as Muhammad Ghayas Ahmedani, CEO of Zaaviaa Solutions; Anusha Shahid, Co-Founder of autocore.io; Muhammad Furqan Karim Kidwai, Director of ASF Tech Partners; Aurangzaib Alamgir, Founder of Porter Pakistan; Sidra Shakeel, Co-Founder of Fortify; and Mirza Saad Baig, Founder of Rawts. Their firsthand experience navigating Pakistan’s startup landscape and securing investments provides invaluable guidance to the emerging founders competing for investor attention.

Throughout the summit, multiple sessions and roundtables are designed to enhance the knowledge and strategic capabilities of both startups and investors. Discussions involving investors, founders, and finance experts will delve into early-stage investment strategies, portfolio management, and risk mitigation. Notable insights will come from industry leaders including the COO of YB Holdings, who will discuss how smart capital is reshaping investment returns, and the CEO of Alpha Beta Core, who will shed light on investor risk appetite and expected returns. These sessions emphasize the summit’s commitment to fostering informed and strategic investment decisions that benefit the entire ecosystem.

The event is proudly funded by the Ignite National Technology Fund under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, reinforcing the government’s support for innovation-led economic growth. NIC Karachi’s track record speaks volumes about the country’s potential, having incubated 376 startups over the last six years across sectors like fintech, edtech, healthtech, agritech, and industrial technology. These startups have collectively raised over Rs12 billion in funding, generated Rs10 billion in revenue, and created employment opportunities for more than one million people.

Syed Azfar Hussain, Project Director at NIC Karachi, reflected on the significance of the summit, stating that it embodies the belief that local innovation deserves global capital. He highlighted NIC Karachi’s role as a bridge builder, connecting visionary entrepreneurs with investors who can accelerate their growth and help them scale nationally and internationally.

In addition to the Pitch Fest, the summit will feature an investor workshop focused on portfolio strategies, a demo day offering curated one-on-one meetings between investors and over 20 investor-ready startups, and a dedicated Google Cloud Startup Foundry Day. The latter will include expert-led sessions on cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and effective fundraising strategies, delivered by global leaders including Google Cloud, Accelerating Asia, and Gobi Ventures. The summit will conclude with an informational session and meet-and-greet, presenting updates on key government initiatives such as the Pakistan Startup Fund and BridgeStart Pakistan, involving stakeholders from Ignite and other government bodies.

As Pakistan’s startup ecosystem continues to mature, events like the Pakistan Investor Summit are vital for creating the connections and knowledge necessary to sustain growth. NIC Karachi’s unwavering dedication to nurturing startups and investors alike sets a new standard for building a vibrant, sustainable ecosystem in the region.
