Pakistan Pavilion Highlights Local Startups and Innovation at Expand North Star 2025 Dubai

Published on

In a strong representation of national innovation and entrepreneurship, Pakistan has inaugurated its Pakistan Pavilion at Expand North Star 2025, the global technology and startup event taking place at Dubai Harbour. Positioned as an extension of GITEX 2025, the initiative underscores Pakistan’s growing ambition to showcase its digital ecosystem, tech startups, and innovation capabilities on the international stage.

The Pakistan Pavilion serves as a vibrant hub for promoting emerging technologies, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and policy stakeholders from around the world. The showcase features cutting-edge demonstrations from Pakistani startups, focusing on fintech, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and e-commerce solutions. It also hosts discussions aimed at fostering collaboration between Pakistan’s expanding digital economy and international markets.

Officials involved in organizing the pavilion emphasized that the key objective is to connect Pakistan’s innovation ecosystem with global investors and partners. Live pitch sessions, a major attraction of the pavilion, allow Pakistani founders to present their business models directly to international venture capitalists and industry leaders. These interactive sessions aim to open new pathways for funding, partnerships, and strategic alliances that can accelerate global market entry for local ventures.

Beyond exhibitions and pitches, the pavilion highlights Pakistan’s growing reputation as a hub of digital talent and entrepreneurial drive. The country’s participation in Expand North Star 2025 signals a stronger confidence in its evolving tech infrastructure and the capabilities of its startup community. It also aligns with national goals of building a globally recognized technology brand that positions Pakistan as a creator of innovation rather than merely a consumer market.

By engaging directly with an international audience, Pakistan is taking a strategic step toward fostering foreign investment and talent exchange. The pavilion provides a platform for startups to interact with mentors, investors, and policy experts from mature ecosystems, enabling two-way knowledge transfer that can support domestic growth and scalability.

Expand North Star 2025, scheduled from October 12 to 15 at Dubai Harbour, stands as one of the world’s largest gatherings of entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators. The event brings together over 1,800 startups, more than 1,000 investors, and representatives from over 100 countries. Co-hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and organized by DWTC, it is designed to accelerate global innovation, facilitate investment flow, and strengthen cross-border collaboration in emerging technologies.

Pakistan’s participation at such a scale marks a pivotal moment for its innovation ecosystem. By aligning with global platforms like Expand North Star and GITEX, the country is amplifying its presence within the international technology landscape—signaling that Pakistani startups are ready to compete, collaborate, and contribute to the global digital economy.
