Pakistan Startup Fund has announced a partnership between Prime Minister’s BridgeStart Pakistan and Startupbootcamp Rainmaking aimed at creating international market access opportunities for Pakistani startups. The collaboration is focused on opening new pathways into the Gulf Cooperation Council innovation ecosystem, providing startups with access to accelerators, mentorship programmes, and regional market expansion support.
According to the announcement, the partnership is designed to help high-potential Pakistani startups connect with international startup networks and scale beyond local markets. Through Startupbootcamp Rainmaking’s global accelerator model, startups will be introduced to structured mentorship, investor networks, and enterprise partnerships that can support regional growth, particularly within Gulf Cooperation Council countries where startup ecosystems have expanded significantly in recent years.
The initiative has been introduced under Prime Minister’s BridgeStart Pakistan, with support from the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication Pakistan, Ignite – National Technology Fund, and Tech Destination Pakistan. The programme forms part of broader efforts to connect local startups with international innovation hubs and improve access to global capital, expertise, and business development channels.
The partnership reflects increasing focus on international expansion for Pakistan’s startup ecosystem, particularly in markets such as the Gulf Cooperation Council where demand for technology-driven solutions continues to grow. Cross-border accelerator partnerships have become an important route for startups seeking larger customer bases, regional investment, and operational exposure outside domestic markets.
