MedIQ, a Pakistani healthtech startup, has been named to the Forbes Asia 100 to Watch 2026 list, which recognizes small companies and startups on the rise across the Asia Pacific region. The recognition places MedIQ among a group of companies that Forbes Asia describes as leading the region’s next wave of innovation, with the broader list spanning sectors including healthcare, enterprise technology, robotics and green tech.
The company has built its offering around improving access to healthcare in Pakistan, with a focus on making quality medical services more accessible, affordable and convenient for users across the country. MedIQ’s inclusion on the list reflects continued attention toward Pakistan’s growing healthtech sector, an area that has seen increasing activity as startups work to address longstanding gaps in the country’s healthcare infrastructure.
According to Forbes Asia, companies featured on this year’s list have collectively raised more than 2.4 billion dollars in funding to date, including close to 1 billion dollars raised so far in 2026, pointing to sustained investor interest in emerging companies across the region. The 100 to Watch list, now in its sixth edition, is sponsored by FedEx and continues to highlight startups working across sectors such as artificial intelligence, enterprise automation and robotics.
MedIQ’s recognition on the list adds to a small but growing number of Pakistani companies gaining visibility on regional platforms, with Lahore based fashion marketplace Laam Technologies also featured among this year’s honorees. The recognition is being seen within Pakistan’s startup ecosystem as a signal of growing international attention toward the country’s technology sector, particularly within healthcare and consumer facing industries.
