Paklaunch UNConference26.2 to Bring Pakistan Global Ecosystem to New York

Published on

Paklaunch will host UNConference26.2 in New York this October, bringing together Pakistan’s global startup and business ecosystem for two days of gatherings aimed at connecting founders, investors, operators, and ecosystem leaders across borders. The event, powered by Abhi, a fintech company that went through Y Combinator’s Summer 2021 batch, will take place at the Yale Club in New York from the nineteenth to the twentieth of October, twenty twenty six.

Organisers have positioned UNConference26.2 as more than a standard conference format, describing it instead as a curated gathering built specifically to connect the people building, investing in, and shaping Pakistan’s global future. The event is expected to draw participants who have a stake in Pakistan’s startup and business ecosystem regardless of where they are currently based, reflecting the increasingly international nature of the country’s founder and investor community.

The two day programme is expected to focus on high impact conversations, direct introductions between attendees, and discussions around cross border opportunities relevant to founders and investors working across Pakistan and international markets. Organisers have described the event as intended to feature influential voices and bold ideas, with the underlying goal of generating conversations and connections that continue well beyond the two days of the conference itself.

Abhi’s role in powering the event reflects the growing presence of Pakistani founded fintech companies with international backing in shaping platforms aimed at connecting the country’s global startup community. The choice of New York as the location, alongside the Yale Club as the venue, points to an effort to draw in members of the Pakistani diaspora working in finance, technology, and venture capital in the United States, alongside investors and operators with an interest in Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.

Those interested in attending UNConference26.2 have been invited to register their interest through the link shared as part of the announcement at https://lnkd.in/dJMCQnSt, with organisers framing the event as a key gathering point for anyone connected to Pakistan’s expanding global startup and business network. The event adds to Paklaunch’s continued series of gatherings aimed at strengthening ties between Pakistan’s domestic startup ecosystem and its growing international diaspora community.
