PASHA NIC Islamabad Host ICT Awards 2026 Orientation Session July 30

Pakistan IT Industry Association, known as PASHA, and NIC Islamabad are jointly hosting an orientation session for the P@SHA ICT Awards 2026 Karachi on July 30, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at National Incubation Center Islamabad, inviting startups and technology companies in the capital to attend a direct and comprehensive briefing on everything they need to know to participate in one of Pakistan’s most prestigious technology recognition platforms. Registration is open at lnkd.in/dNkY3z3y and further information is available at pashaictawards.com.

The P@SHA ICT Awards have established themselves over successive editions as one of the most credible and widely recognised platforms for celebrating excellence in Pakistan’s information and communication technology sector, covering startups, established technology companies, and individual innovators across a range of categories that reflect the breadth of what the country’s technology industry produces. For startups and tech companies considering whether and how to participate in the 2026 awards, the July 30 orientation session provides a structured opportunity to get authoritative answers to the questions that most commonly determine whether a strong candidate submits a compelling application or misses the opportunity through uncertainty about the process.

The orientation will cover award categories, giving attendees a clear picture of where their company or product fits within the awards structure, eligibility criteria that define who can apply and under what conditions, the application process including what information and materials are required and how submissions are evaluated at each stage, and the judging criteria that determine how applications are assessed by the panel that makes the final selections. Getting this information directly from the source rather than inferring it from the awards website or relying on second-hand accounts from previous participants gives Islamabad’s startup and technology community a more accurate and actionable understanding of what a competitive application looks like, reducing the gap between companies that deserve recognition and those that actually receive it.

The collaboration between PASHA and NIC Islamabad for this orientation session reflects a shared interest in ensuring that Islamabad’s technology community is well-represented in the P@SHA ICT Awards, which are being held in Karachi in 2026. NIC Islamabad’s position as the capital’s most prominent incubation centre gives it direct access to a community of startups that are often strong candidates for technology awards but that may lack the awareness, the guidance, or the confidence to put forward the application that their work deserves. By bringing the orientation directly to NIC Islamabad, PASHA is making it as easy as possible for that community to engage with the awards process and take the first step toward the recognition that winning or being shortlisted for a P@SHA ICT Award can provide. Startups and tech companies in Islamabad ready to learn more can register for the July 30 session at lnkd.in/dNkY3z3y.
