Khan, Chancellor at CASE and CEO of C.A.R.E., Roma Labib, Country Director at Accelerate Prosperity, and Asif Ahmad, Group Chief Business Solutions Officer at PTCL, giving founders a national broadcast platform rather than the more contained visibility of a typical pitch competition. Episode 1 drew from a nationwide selection process spanning thousands of applicants before narrowing down to five startups, opening with Cryo, founded by Abdullah Zubair and Safi, pitching CritShot, an AI-based sports entertainment system designed to improve broadcast viewing by analyzing batsman shot mistakes and projecting 3D alternatives with high ball-detection accuracy. Discussion with the judges covered the startup’s sales strategy, broadcast industry partnerships including Trans Group, equity distribution, and long-term monetization plans, with Dr. Shoab specifically praising the application of AI in sports.
Next came Visual Solutions, founded by Khushi Mohammad and Shahmi Zeeshan, pitching AI and AR-based interactive 3D user manuals designed to replace traditional paper manuals for industrial machinery and household appliances. Judges advised the founders to expand into a broader SaaS model targeting internal corporate processes beyond heavy machinery alone, suggesting the underlying technology had wider commercial applications than the initial pitch scope covered. Hira Mobeen then presented Yumkins Foods, a chemical-free, additive-free child nutrition brand that converts indigenous Pakistani food crops into ready-to-eat products for children aged six months to fifteen years. Questions from the panel focused on third-party testing certifications from PCSIR, operating margins, R&D reinvestment, and how the company plans to compete against large FMCG brands with far greater distribution reach. Yumkins ultimately took the runner-up position, with Roma Labib highlighting it specifically for addressing a core health problem.

The episode also featured a success story segment on Cravmart, a 30-minute quick-commerce grocery delivery service in Pakistan, along with an audience contest tied to the PM Youth Programme giveaway asking viewers to define EBITDA. Among the contestants themselves, Hira Mobeen named Cryo as her favorite pitch, while the Cryo team picked Alexis Bikes as theirs. The episode closed with Project Director of the PM National Innovation Award, Abdullah Soomro, joining the stage with the PKR 1 million check, discussing the nationwide selection process before formally declaring Compliance Machine the winner of Episode 1.
