Calling all PRCS youth volunteers, the National Digital Youth Climate Hackathon Idea Pitching Platform has launched under the YOUR-CAP Project, with the Pakistan Red Crescent Society inviting youth volunteers from across Pakistan to develop innovative, technology-driven solutions addressing urban climate challenges. The initiative gives young Pakistanis with an interest in climate action a structured platform to move their ideas beyond informal discussion and into a formal submission process with a genuine chance at funding.
Do you have a bold idea to tackle urban climate challenges? PRCS invites youth volunteers from across Pakistan to submit their innovative, technology-driven solutions for a chance to bring their vision to life, spanning three specific thematic areas. Whether an idea focuses on Climate Change, Climate Resilience, or Urban Resilience, participants have the opportunity to turn their innovation into concrete action addressing some of the more pressing environmental challenges facing Pakistan’s rapidly growing cities.
Two winning ideas will each receive a grant of PKR 40,000, giving selected participants direct financial support to help bring their proposed solutions closer to implementation. This grant structure positions the hackathon as more than a purely competitive showcase, offering tangible funding that could serve as seed capital for young innovators looking to develop their climate solutions further beyond the initial pitching stage.
Interested youth volunteers can submit their ideas through the Google Form at https://lnkd.in/dUZsDBgP ahead of the submission deadline on August 2, 2026. The future of climate action starts with bold ideas, and the National Digital Youth Climate Hackathon gives young Pakistanis from across the country an accessible, digitally administered platform to contribute their own vision toward addressing climate change, resilience, and urban sustainability challenges within their communities.
