PSW and Soneri Bank Host Change Management Session for Women Entrepreneurs During SBP Women Financing Week 2025

Published on

PSW, in partnership with Soneri Bank Limited, held a comprehensive Change Management session for women entrepreneurs as part of the State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) Women Financing Week 2025. The initiative aimed to equip women-led businesses with the knowledge and tools needed to expand their operations, access financing, and streamline cross-border trade. The interactive session combined practical training with policy awareness, encouraging participants to explore modern digital trade opportunities through the Pakistan Single Window (PSW) platform.

Participants were guided through smart banking solutions, digital financial tools, and export facilitation features that simplify the end-to-end trade process for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The session also offered an in-depth overview of how PSW’s single-window system reduces documentation, automates procedures, and enables faster integration with customs, banks, and regulators, a game-changer for SMEs seeking to enter global markets.

Beyond technology enablement, the program highlighted flagship initiatives such as the Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship Program and #SMElevate, both designed to help women entrepreneurs access financial resources, improve operational capacity, and grow sustainably.

Through expert-led discussions and networking opportunities, the event enabled women business owners to share experiences, learn from industry specialists, and gain actionable strategies for scaling. Participants particularly benefited from case studies demonstrating how digital banking tools can accelerate trade and financial inclusion.

The collaboration reflects PSW’s broader mission to create a more inclusive digital trade ecosystem, ensuring that women entrepreneurs have equitable access to opportunities within Pakistan’s growing digital economy. Soneri Bank’s role underscored the importance of gender-inclusive financial products and advisory services in helping women transition from micro- to small- and medium-scale enterprises.

The session concluded with a strong message of empowerment and partnership, reinforcing the idea that economic inclusion is not only about access to finance, but also about building capacity, confidence, and connection.

As Pakistan continues its journey toward a more digitized and inclusive economy, initiatives like these, combining public and private sector collaboration, mark a vital step in enabling women to contribute fully to national and international trade.
