PSW Khadijah Program Highlights Women Entrepreneurs Through Training and Global Trade Support

Published on

The Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship Program, an initiative under Pakistan Single Window, continues to strengthen its role in supporting women-led businesses across Pakistan by providing structured mentorship, trade facilitation guidance, and capacity-building opportunities. The program is designed to help women entrepreneurs develop practical business skills while enabling them to participate more actively in domestic and international trade ecosystems. It focuses on bridging gaps in knowledge, access to markets, and financial literacy, which are often key barriers for women-owned enterprises.

Through its training sessions and workshops, the initiative equips participants with essential competencies including digital marketing, e-commerce operations, financial management, and understanding of cross-border trade procedures. These structured learning opportunities are aimed at improving the ability of women entrepreneurs to scale their ventures and integrate into formal trade networks. The program also connects participants with mentors and industry experts, creating pathways for long-term business development and sustainability.

A core component of the initiative is its emphasis on enabling women to engage in international trade by simplifying compliance processes and improving awareness of export-oriented business practices. By working with trade stakeholders and development partners, the program helps participants understand regulatory frameworks and global market requirements, allowing them to better position their products and services for broader markets. This approach is aligned with Pakistan Single Window’s broader objective of streamlining trade facilitation and enhancing participation in formal economic systems.

The initiative has also expanded its outreach across multiple cities in Pakistan, bringing training and mentorship opportunities to women in both urban and underserved regions. Through partnerships and targeted engagement, it continues to build a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem where women can access resources, develop scalable business models, and contribute more effectively to economic activity.
