Punjab Office of AI Hosts First Networking Event with Paklaunch and Huawei to Advance Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem

Published on

Office of AI Punjab has held its first networking event in collaboration with Paklaunch and Huawei, bringing together international companies, venture capital firms, diplomats, and government representatives under one platform to discuss artificial intelligence collaboration and investment opportunities. The event was presented as part of Punjab’s broader artificial intelligence agenda and focused on connecting key stakeholders in the technology and investment ecosystem.

According to the Office of AI Punjab, the event was designed to create direct engagement between policymakers, investors, and industry leaders to discuss the role of artificial intelligence in economic and industrial development. The initiative follows recent activity by the office, including its memorandum of understanding with Bank of Punjab on artificial intelligence-driven financial infrastructure, reflecting a wider provincial focus on integrating artificial intelligence into governance and business operations.

Paklaunch, which has built a growing network of founders and investors across multiple countries, has increasingly positioned itself as a meeting point for startups and capital, while Huawei has also expanded its artificial intelligence and digital ecosystem activities in the region through technology-focused programmes and industry collaborations. Recent Huawei-led digital initiatives in Pakistan have focused on cloud systems, artificial intelligence applications, and enterprise technology discussions involving public and private sector stakeholders.

The networking event signals increasing coordination between government-led artificial intelligence initiatives and private sector players in Pakistan’s technology ecosystem. With venture capital activity and enterprise adoption of artificial intelligence gaining pace, such gatherings are becoming part of broader efforts to connect capital, policy, and technology development in a more structured way, particularly in Punjab where artificial intelligence has emerged as a policy and investment focus area.
