TiE Islamabad Names Saquib Ahmad as New President

TiE Islamabad has announced the election of Saquib Ahmad as its new President, marking a significant step forward for the organization. With a strong track record in driving digital transformation and innovation in Pakistan, Ahmad is well-positioned to lead the Chapter into its next phase of growth.

Currently the Country Managing Director for SAP Pakistan, Ahmad has played a key role in expanding the company’s presence across the country, exceeding growth targets, and supporting local talent in the public and private sectors. With nearly 25 years of experience in the IT and telecom industries, including leadership positions at Oracle and Comptel, his expertise spans a wide range of digital and business initiatives.

Ahmad is also a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship. In addition to his corporate roles, he serves as a Board member for the Information Technology and Telecommunications Committee at Air University in Islamabad and has been an active part of TiE Islamabad’s Board, helping shape its strategic direction.

His appointment is seen as a positive move for TiE Islamabad, which is focused on fostering creativity, disruption, and entrepreneurial growth in Pakistan’s dynamic startup ecosystem.
