The startup described the development as a significant milestone in its effort to help local businesses connect more easily with global financial systems, an area that has remained a persistent challenge for freelancers and small companies operating out of Pakistan.
Founded by Maqsood Ahmed, Scounts.pk provides a range of services that include direct and indirect tax filing, bookkeeping, payroll management, United States LLC registration, and United States tax consultancy tailored for startups and small businesses. The company has positioned itself as a resource for Pakistani entrepreneurs looking to formalise their financial operations, both within the country and as they expand into international markets, with its service offering built around the compliance and accounting needs that often accompany cross border business activity.
Through its new collaborations with Payoneer, Airwallex, Nsave, and PingPong, Scounts.pk said it will now be able to help freelancers, startups, software houses, and small businesses gain access to global business banking solutions, including the ability to open multi currency business accounts. The startup added that clients working with these four platforms would also benefit from faster support in resolving issues related to international payments, a common pain point for Pakistani businesses that rely on cross border transactions for client payments, vendor settlements, or investment inflows.
The announcement was shared alongside acknowledgements of Tech Destination Pakistan, Ministry Of IT and Telecommunication, Ignite National Technology Fund, LMKT, LuckyOne Mall, and Orbit Ventures, pointing to the wider network of institutional and private sector stakeholders that have been associated with Scounts.pk’s growth. The startup’s association with National Incubation Center Karachi was also visible in the announcement material, placing Scounts.pk among the companies that have gone through incubation support in Karachi’s startup ecosystem.
Scounts.pk framed the four new collaborations as part of its broader mission to help Pakistani businesses build and scale internationally with fewer financial barriers, particularly as more startups, software houses, and freelance operations look to serve clients and access funding from outside the country.
