SEIC’s Cohort 2 startups have visited Scents N Stories, an established brand, as part of a learning experience organized in collaboration with Startup Syndicate. During the visit, the founders met Saad Afridi, the founder of Scents N Stories, and were able to ask him questions one-on-one about the brand’s journey and the way the business runs. The visit gave the participating founders a chance to hear directly from someone who has built a company, rather than relying only on classroom sessions or mentoring conversations within the incubation programme.
The visit also included a tour of the brand’s head office, which gave the startups a closer look at the operations behind an established business. For early-stage founders who are still shaping their processes, seeing how a working company organizes its teams, workspace and day-to-day activity can be a useful reference point, especially when they are deciding how to structure their own ventures as they grow. The announcement did not say how many founders took part in the visit or which specific topics Saad Afridi covered, so the details of the discussion are limited to what was shared in the post.
SEIC said that experiences of this kind give founders valuable opportunities to learn from real-world business journeys, exchange ideas and gain perspectives that support their entrepreneurial growth. The visit follows other sessions held for the second cohort, including a session on unit economics and margins and another on data-driven sprinting and metric-driven iteration, which suggests that the programme is combining training sessions with direct exposure to working businesses.
The programme operates with the involvement of SITD Government of Sindh, Sapphire Consulting Services and HUM Network, all of which were acknowledged in the announcement. Startup Syndicate, whose co-founders led the earlier data-driven sprinting session, was named as the collaborator for this visit.
