SEIC Hosts Irfan A Khan Session on Business Model Canvas and Revenue Design

Published on

SEIC is hosting a session on Business Model Canvas and Revenue Design with Irfan A. Khan, Founder of DVAGO and Cutera Aesthetics, in collaboration with IBA’s Center for Entrepreneurial Development, scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at SEIC’s Catalyst Hall. The session gives founders direct access to an entrepreneur with a demonstrated track record of building and scaling ventures, rather than relying solely on theoretical business model frameworks.

The session will explore practical approaches to building sustainable business models, refining revenue streams, and creating stronger value propositions for startups, treating the business model canvas not as an academic exercise but as a working tool founders can apply directly to their own ventures. For early-stage founders still working out how their business will actually generate and sustain revenue, having that framework walked through by someone who has built real companies can make the difference between an abstract template and a genuinely useful planning document.

Khan brings more than 28 years of experience across banking, healthcare and retail to the session, along with firsthand experience founding and scaling DVAGO and serving as a director at Cutera Aesthetics. That breadth across sectors gives him a vantage point on revenue design that extends beyond any single industry’s assumptions, which can be particularly useful for a mixed cohort of founders working across different business categories.

SEIC is framing the session as an opportunity for founders to learn, engage and gain valuable insights from an experienced entrepreneur and industry leader. The event continues SEIC’s pattern of pairing its startups with outside experts across different business disciplines, with support from IBA CED, Sapphire Consulting Services and Hum Network.
