Sheikh Taimur Nawaz Leads Problem Solution Market Validation Session

Published on

Pathfinder CITADEL has named Sheikh Taimur Nawaz, Director of Marketing and Customer Experience at Transworld and Co-Founder of CalmKaaj, as Mentor of the Week for Session 4 of Cohort 2, leading a session titled Problem, Solution and Market Validation. Nawaz brings extensive leadership experience across marketing, product strategy, and customer experience, positioning him to offer founders in the current cohort practical guidance on building solutions capable of achieving genuine market impact.

The Problem, Solution and Market Validation session centres on the foundational idea that every successful venture begins with correctly identifying a real problem before validating the right solution to address it. Nawaz’s session is expected to walk founders through the process of understanding customer needs, testing and validating early ideas, and building ventures that are both market ready and structured for future scalability.

Nawaz’s dual background, combining his corporate role at Transworld with his experience co-founding CalmKaaj, gives him a mix of perspectives relevant to the session’s focus, drawing on both large scale marketing and customer experience strategy alongside firsthand founder level experience building a business from the ground up. This combination positions him to speak to both the theoretical frameworks around market validation and the practical realities founders face when applying those frameworks to their own startups.

Pathfinder CITADEL has continued to structure its cohort based mentorship programme around bringing in a different mentor each week, giving founders exposure to a range of perspectives across different functional areas relevant to building and scaling a startup. The Mentor of the Week format allows the programme to draw on specialists in specific areas, such as market validation in this case, rather than relying on a single mentor to cover the full breadth of topics founders need to navigate during their time in the cohort.

The organisation’s continued emphasis on structured, topic specific mentorship reflects a broader belief that meaningful guidance from experienced professionals can give founders both the practical knowledge and the confidence needed to move from early stage ideas toward more fully developed, market validated businesses. The Problem, Solution and Market Validation session adds to the ongoing series of mentor led sessions Pathfinder CITADEL has organised throughout Cohort 2, each aimed at addressing a specific stage or challenge in the startup building process.
