Sindh Enterprise Incubation Center Hosts Problem Validation And Market Research For Cohort Two Founders

Published on

The Sindh Enterprise Incubation Center will host a session on Problem Validation and Market Research tomorrow, Friday, October 23, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the center’s Catalyst Hall. The session is led by Sana Shaharyar, Director at Click Chain Academy, and is organized in collaboration with Startup Syndicate. It is aimed at the founders of Cohort 2, the center’s current group of startups, and it takes up one of the most basic questions in early stage entrepreneurship: whether the problem a founder is trying to solve is one that real customers actually have.

The session is designed to help founders understand the importance of validating business ideas, identifying real customer needs, and conducting effective market research. The aim is for them to build solutions that address genuine market problems and not assumptions about what customers might want. Many startups fail not because the product is poorly made but because too few people were willing to pay for it, and validation is meant to catch that risk early. By testing an idea against actual customer behavior before investing heavily in development, founders can save time and money, adjust their direction while changes are still cheap, and enter the market with a clearer understanding of who their buyers are.

Market research is the second part of the session and works alongside validation. Founders who understand the size of their market, the competitors they face, and the habits of their customers are better placed to set prices, choose channels, and describe their business to investors. Sana Shaharyar, who directs an academy focused on digital skills, will bring a practical view of how to gather and use this information, and the session gives the cohort a chance to apply the ideas to their own companies. For founders at an early stage, a working session of two hours can be more useful than a lecture, since it allows them to bring their own questions and receive direct feedback.

The announcement lists the Sindh Information Technology Department among the organizations associated with the center, and it presents the session as part of a regular program of learning for its cohort. It did not share the number of founders attending or detail the exercises planned for the two hours. What it makes clear is that the center sees problem validation as a foundation for everything that follows, from product design to fundraising. For the Cohort 2 founders, the session offers a structured way to test their assumptions, sharpen their understanding of their customers, and move into the later stages of the program with firmer evidence behind their ideas.
