Solana Frontier Hackathon Launches Pakistan Track with Grants Up to PKR 2 Million for Builders

Published on

Colosseum has opened registrations for the Solana Frontier Hackathon, with a dedicated Pakistan track aimed at supporting local blockchain builders and early-stage Web3 startups. The programme is part of Solana’s wider accelerator efforts and is focused on helping developers build blockchain-based products while competing within a global startup environment.

The Pakistan track is being facilitated by Superteam Pakistan, which will provide mentorship, community support, and guidance for participants throughout the hackathon. According to the programme details, builders will have access to structured support and grants of up to PKR 2 million, aimed at helping them develop and scale blockchain-based products.

The hackathon is designed to encourage product development within the Solana ecosystem, with participants expected to work on blockchain applications and compete for grants and recognition. Similar Solana-backed programmes have increasingly attracted startup founders and developers across emerging markets, where blockchain and decentralised applications continue to gain attention.

The launch of a Pakistan-focused track reflects growing interest in blockchain development within the country’s technology ecosystem. With local Web3 communities becoming more active, international hackathons and accelerator programmes are emerging as a route for developers to access funding, mentorship, and global visibility beyond domestic markets.
