NSTP at NUST and The AKD Group UK have signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement to build Pakistan's first globally connected Defense Technology Incubation and early stage Investment Platform, connecting startups to international investors and OEMs.

A California delegation including officials from the State Treasurer's office visited NSTP, learning that resident startups have attracted over 2 million dollars in US venture capital investment.

NSTP hosted over 150 participants from National Workshop Balochistan, including students, faculty, and government officers, for a national exposure visit to Pakistan's technology and innovation ecosystem.

NSTP Director Engineer Amer Sheikh welcomed US Embassy Political Officer David Morrison to NSTP for a visit showcasing the park's innovation ecosystem and R&D infrastructure, building on existing collaboration including the Rising Star Startup Competition and PUAN knowledge-sharing sessions

NSTP hosted Kelsey Ng, Innovation Ecosystem Development Manager from the Hong Kong Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park, for a visit exploring incubation linkages, research engagement, and pilot collaboration initiatives between both innovation ecosystems.

A delegation from Pakistan Digital Authority, led by Vice Chairperson Mohammad J Sear, visited NSTP at NUST to discuss potential collaboration on innovation, entrepreneurship, digital governance, and startup ecosystem development.

NUST National Science and Technology Park has welcomed over 30 startups to the Cohort 6 orientation of Hatch 8, with Director NSTP Engineer Amer Sheikh emphasising persistence and consistency as the defining traits of successful founders.
