The Realistic Optimist Hosts Webinar on Corporate Mobility in Dense Cities

Published on

The Realistic Optimist is hosting a webinar titled Building Corporate Mobility in Dense Cities, scheduled for Thursday, the third of September, twenty twenty six, at half past five in the evening East Africa Time, equivalent to half past seven Pakistan time. The session will feature Maha Shahzad, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BusCaro in Pakistan, and Denis Muchoki, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of E-Moti in Kenya, bringing together two founders working in mobility across distinctly different geographies.

Both founders have been building in the mobility space for some time, with slightly different models operating across completely different markets, giving the session a comparative dimension that allows participants to draw parallels and contrasts between how corporate mobility solutions develop in different emerging market contexts. This kind of cross regional comparison offers insights that might not surface from studying either market in isolation.

The discussion is expected to dig into unit economics, growth strategies, the shift from B2C to B2B models, and the day to day operational challenges of the mobility sector. The focus on transitioning from consumer facing to business facing models reflects a strategic pivot that many mobility startups consider as they seek more predictable revenue streams and stronger unit economics compared to purely consumer driven ride hailing or transport services.

The session will be moderated by Tashfeen Khan, an Analyst at i2i Ventures and RO Ambassador, who will guide the conversation between the two founders. Those with specific questions for either Shahzad or Muchoki have been invited to reach out ahead of the session, giving audience members an opportunity to shape the discussion around topics most relevant to their own interests in the mobility sector.

Those interested in attending can register through the link shared as part of the announcement at https://luma.com/e97a6484?tk=UnpjHs. The webinar adds to a growing body of cross border knowledge sharing between founders operating in similar sectors across different emerging markets, giving participants exposure to how mobility challenges and solutions compare between South Asian and East African urban contexts.
