The topics it expects to cover include entrepreneurial journeys, lessons learned, innovation and the challenges of building a business, and the center’s message is that every great idea deserves to be heard and every entrepreneurial journey has a story worth sharing.
For founders in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a studio of this kind offers something that is hard to find outside the large cities, a professional setting in which they can record and share their experiences. Early stage entrepreneurs often learn the most from each other, and a podcast turns those conversations into material that students, aspiring founders and investors can listen to later. It also gives startups a way to build visibility for their own work, since a recorded conversation can reach people who would never attend an event on campus.
The Business Incubation Center was established in September 2024 as a university-backed incubation hub aimed at unlocking entrepreneurial potential across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Its model brings infrastructure, mentorship, market access and company-building support under one roof, and it is led by Dr Shakeel Khan as head and focal person. Its facilities include co-working space for up to 250 people, 23 private offices, six meeting rooms and two event halls, along with computer training spaces and a studio known as BICast, which houses the podcast facility.
The podcast space adds a media layer to the services that the center offers to startups and students. The center describes its role as creating space for ideas, conversations and innovation, and the new facility extends that description from physical desks and meeting rooms to the stories of the people who use them. Details of the first guests and the release schedule for episodes have not been announced.
