Virtual Accelerate Announces Tender for IT Acceleration Programme

Published on

Virtual Accelerate by Accelerate Prosperity has announced a tender for the delivery of an IT Acceleration Programme in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, inviting experienced service providers to support the programme’s implementation. The tender is backed by UK International Development, giving the initiative institutional weight beyond Accelerate Prosperity’s own organisational resources and reflecting continued international donor interest in supporting IT and startup ecosystem development across Central Asia.

The selected service provider will deliver a 10-week hybrid acceleration programme for 25 IT startups, covering the full lifecycle of an accelerator engagement from outreach and selection through onboarding, mentoring, and founder support. The programme’s structure is designed to culminate in investment readiness and a Demo Day, giving participating startups a clear endpoint at which they can present their progress directly to potential investors, following the same broad model that has become standard across accelerator programmes internationally, adapted here specifically for the Tashkent IT startup community.

Joint applications with partner organisations are also welcome, giving service providers the flexibility to combine complementary expertise, whether in programme delivery, mentorship networks, or investor relationships, rather than requiring a single organisation to demonstrate full in-house capability across every aspect of the tender’s requirements. This is described as an excellent opportunity to collaborate in supporting the growth of high-potential IT startups, positioning the tender as relevant not just to established accelerator operators but potentially to a broader range of organisations working across different pieces of the startup support value chain.

Full details and application requirements are available through https://lnkd.in/dQqugvfu. Proposals should be submitted to adil.zhailobekov@akdn.org and aliman.kenzhebaeva@akdn.org, while questions regarding the assignment can be directed to bubunur.alibaeva@akdn.org. The submission deadline is set for August 16, 2026, at 11:00 PM Bishkek time, giving interested service providers a defined window to prepare and submit competitive proposals for delivering this IT-focused acceleration programme in Uzbekistan’s capital.
